It
is a beautiful tradition in our Catholic Church to request that
masses be said to ask for God’s blessing for a variety of reasons.
The most common reason is for the repose (peaceful, heavenly rest)
of the soul of a loved one or friend. But mass intentions can be
made for a variety of purposes, both solemn and joyful.
You may have a Mass said
for:
· For
the repose of the soul of a deceased friend or loved one.
· Birthdays.
· Anniversaries
(weddings, religious, or a date of death).
· Safe
pregnancy, birth of a baby, or adoption.
· Recovery
from an illness.
· Other
Spiritual Intentions. |
