The Terra Nova national standardized test scores were received just this week. The test scores were truly exemplary.

In every grade starting in third and continuing through eighth, in every subject area and every category of that subject, our SKS students scored at or greatly exceeded the national average. In addition to this, SKS students surpassed their expected scores in math, reading, language and total score. It is remarkable when a class scores one standard deviation above the norm, scoring two or three deviations above the group is truly amazing!

Remember, test scores are only one instrument used in evaluating a school’s or individual student’s progress. SKS uses test scores in concert with other evaluations to analyze, formulate and edit curriculum. SKS is proud of the accomplishments of its students, but it is always important for a school to continue to be progressive.
