As Catholics we should be attending mass weekly. We
are to be active participants at each Liturgy. Encourage your
children to be active in our faith also. Show the Lord you are
following his command to love and serve others. There are so many
ways!
Our parish is in great need of altar servers.
Parents, it is your example that your children will follow. Is it
important for you to go to church each weekend? Will you encourage
your child to be trained to serve our Lord at mass for at least one
year? When our children become adults they choose for themselves
how to spend their time. Right now they depend on YOU for
direction.
Our parish also is in need of adult Ushers, Lectors,
Greeters, Eucharistic Ministers, Catechists, Singers, & Musicians.
Will you give just a little of your time and talent back to God? He
gives so much and expects so little.
Can you give Him an hour of Quality Time each
week? |
