 When
I first arrived here, Doris Stabile came to me and expressed her
wish to retire; I asked her at that time if she would ‘hang on’ for
a few months until I got orientated and adjusted. I thank
Doris for her generosity, service and ministry among us these many
years. Doris has graciously accepted to continue coordinating
the ministry of care and the shawl ministry but will be retiring
from her staff position on June 30th. As per Doris’
wishes, no ‘official’ celebration is planned.
Again, I
am indebted to Doris for her many kindnesses to me and for all the
many ways she demonstrated her love, faith and devotion to our
parish, especially during the occasion of Fr. Eddy’s absence due to
illness. On behalf of all St. Kieran parishioners, I offer our
humble and sincere thanks and appreciation. May God continue
to bless you and hold you close. |
